Plots since update

Greetings,

I have noticed that on both the pro and lite versions of PocketCAS (both version 2.9.1) whenever I attempt to plot a function it quits the application and returns me to the 'desktop'. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just doing something wrong?

Just to verify, I did a very simple plot, I went into New Calculation, sin(x), the hit the plot button at the top of the screen. After about a second, the application closed. This happened on both the pro and lite versions.

Hi,

This is a bug in PocketCAS that's related to iOS 3.1 and earlier. It will be fixed in a future version, but you can also get rid of it by upgrading to iOS 4 or later.

Sadly my device is too old to get the update (an old iPod Touch) so it looks like I will have to wait for the update. It seems the 'help' arrows do the same thing, I assume this would be a related bug.

Short of the lack of graphs, I do love the product so keep up the good work!

By the Help Arrows I am referring to when you have a function selected (say in the function list) and on the right hand side of the screen there is the blue and white arrow (>) that provides more information/help on how to use the function.

I have experienced the same problem with plotting:  when I tap the PLOT button the app exits.  I am running on an older iTouch with OS 3.1.3.  This model cannot be upgraded to 4.0.  Waiting for the next PocketCAS upgrade is inconvenient.  Is it possible to downgrade to a version prior to 2.9 that still worked on the older iTouch?
