advertising redirection
« on: July 27, 2006, 12:13:16 PM »
it may sound harsh but it really sucks that one is unable to use your dragsim cause of this bloody redirection after some code comes to the conclusion that some kind of advertising is blocked. I can see 2 or 3 banners, without Pop-Up-Blocker there comes up a pop-up and with pop-up-blocker enabled there is that some kind of layer ad. But no matter if I allow pop-ups or not (and I AM seeing those banners), after loading the page I am redirected to that nice white page stating I am blocking ads! Isn'T that enough ads? Should there be like 10 banners and 20 pop-ups or which ads am I missing according to your code?
This makes it just useless.

(using Mozilla 1.7 on Win2k)

If that will ever work again: thx a lot for offering dragsosim, I always liked it a lot...

Send me an Email with a screenshot and I will tell you if your adblocker is completely disabled.

I'm having a similar error with my browser. AFAIK, I never had this problem before with IE, and I'm noticing the same probelm in FF also.

yeah I have been getting this problem with FF for a few days now. It just started in IE and I don't even have a pop up blocker /in/ IE. It also just started today in Opera.

No I don't have a third party pop up blocker on my system, but I do in FF.

Opera 8.51
IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920
FF 1.5.0.6

I see the banner ads, but then it redirects to the page saying that I'm running an ad blocker... I'm not running one, only a pop up blocker but that is for good reason ;)

I don't mind banner ads at all, but intrusive pop ups/pop unders make one not wish to visit the site again.
